Legal basis for the processing of your personal data:

The providing and processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract you have concluded with the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP), to which you are a contracting party (assumed with the conclusion of the purchase contract) and on the basis of the fulfillment of these general legal obligations (in particular those arising from the following: Act No. 370/2017 Coll. on Payment Systems; Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on value-added tax; Act 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code; etc.) and on the basis of the “General Business Terms and Conditions for the Sale of Goods through an Online Store Located at the Internet Address: fanshop.dpp.cz”; and, with respect to any business-related correspondence and communications, the basis for processing is the legitimate business interests of the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP).

Personal Data Processed

These are mainly identification and contact data (first and last name, physical address, email address), and also phone number, ID (IČO) number and VAT ID (DIČ) number.

Your personal data is being processed in order to do the following:

  • conclude and fulfill a purchase contract,
  • deliver goods,
  • create a user account,
  • send business-related communications (news and discounts),
  • protect legal claims of the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP),
  • exercise rights related to defective performance or a withdrawal from the contract.

Recipients or categories of recipients of Personal Data 

Personal data may be passed on to third parties (recipients) as required and only for the purposes referenced above. Such third parties may, in particular, include delivery services (Czech Post) for the shipping of ordered goods to the physical address provided (post office). In addition, your personal data may be passed on to state administrative bodies.

For how long will the company be storing my personal data and what is the criteria being used to determine this period?

Your personal data is generally processed for the time period necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will delete personal data as soon as the purpose for which the personal data was processed ceases to exist.

The company determines the period of time during which it is necessary to continue to process your personal data on the basis of the following criteria:

  • During the period of the contract: The company will process your personal data for the period of our mutual contractual relationship (the company stores your personal data necessary for the period required to conclude our performance required by a purchase contract and for a period of 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the performance took place).
  • Upon termination of the contract: Upon termination of the contract, the company will retain your personal data until the expiration of the period of time during which you or the company can assert claims against the other party on the basis of the terminated contract; or, as otherwise required under the law.
  • Litigation and other proceedings: Should the processing of your personal data be relevant to any proceedings in which the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) is a party (or intervener), the company will retain your personal data for the entire duration of such proceedings and for the period of time during which there can be any related subsequent and ancillary proceedings.

For example, in the event of withdrawal from the contract or complaint, we process your personal data for the time strictly necessary for the processing of the complaint, a maximum of 1 year, unless personal data is also processed for another purpose.

Processing Method

Personal data is processed both manually and electronically. Personal data is not made available to anyone except the recipients noted above.
To simply unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications from the company, you can adjust the information under “settings”, which are part of your online user profile. You can also contact us at the email address: fanshop@dpp.cz; or by using the opt-out link at the end of the commercial communication email.
