Legal basis for the processing of your personal data:
The providing and processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g. Act 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code; Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on value-added-tax, etc.).

The legal basis for the processing in this case is:

  • keyword (title) law 

Personal Data Processed
If it is not possible for the company to make an immediate decision on the justification for a complaint, the complainant is asked to fill out a complaint form (protocol), which will contain the following required identification information (first and last name) and contact details (email and phone number – neither of which are mandatory).

Your personal data is being processed in order to do the following:

  • exercise your right to either have any defects in the expected performance remedied or to withdraw from the contract.

There are no transfers of the related personal data.

For how long will the company be storing my personal data and what is the criteria being used to determine this period?
Your personal data is generally processed for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will delete personal data as soon as the purpose for which the personal data was processed ceases to exist.

We process your personal data for the period of time, which is determined to be necessary on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Litigation and other proceedings: Should the processing of your personal data be relevant to any proceedings in which the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) is a party (or intervener), the company will retain your personal data for the entire duration of these proceedings and for the period of any possible subsequent and ancillary proceedings.

In the event of a withdrawal from a contract or the withdrawal of a complaint, the company will process your personal data for only that period of time in which it is absolutely necessary to do so to properly handle the complaint or for a maximum period of 1 year, unless your personal data is also being processed for another purpose.

Processing Method
Personal data is processed both manually and electronically. Personal data is not made available to other recipients.
