Requesting Information in Relation to Act No. 106/1999 Sb.

Legal basis for the processing of your personal data:

The processing of your personal data is necessary for general compliance with legal obligations, esp. Act No. 106/1999 Sb. (hereinafter referred to as "Act No. 106/1999 Sb."), on free access to information. It is your right, but not your obligation, to contact DPP with requests for information under this Act.

The legal basis for the processing in this case is:
-    keyword (title): law.

Processed Personal Data 

Pursuant to the provision of Section 14, Paragraph 2 of Act No. 106/1999 Sb., the required information includes your first and last name, date of birth, address of the place of permanent residence or, if not registered with a permanent residence address, your current address of residence and a mailing address. The mailing address can also be an email or other electronic address.

Your personal data are being processed in order to do the following:

  • to exercise the data subject (individual‘s) right to information,
  • to track and monitor the process of responding to requests for information by the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP),
  • to verify that the applications processing is being handled in accordance with the relevant legal regulations.

Recipients or categories of recipients of Personal Data

Personal data are not passed on to third parties (recipients).

The period for which the personal data will be stored and the criteria used to determine this period

Your personal data are processed for the time period necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing. The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will delete personal data as soon as the purposes of processing cease to exist.

The time period, for which the personal data will be stored is determined on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Legal claims: Your personal data will be processed by the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) for the duration of the period, during which a claim can be made by the company and / or by you, or for the period imposed on us by law.
  • Litigation and other proceedings: Should the processing of your personal data be relevant to any proceedings in which the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) is a party (or intervener), we will process your personal data for the entire duration of these proceedings and for any related subsequent or ancillary proceedings.

We process your personal data in the database for a period of 36 months from the date of our response. After this specified period the personal data will be erased, unless the processing would be necessary for the reasons stated above.
