Traffic restrictions
Malostranská - Chotkovy sady: temporary suspension of tram traffic

Due to repairs to the tram line, the operation of trams in both directions is interrupted from Saturday, 30 January 2021 (from approximately 10.30 pm) to Thursday, 25 February 2021 (until approximately 10.30 pm) in the section Malostranská – Chotkovy sady.

Tram Line Changes

• Tram Line No. 2 is canceled.
• Tram Line No. 12, in the section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Malostranská, is diverted using the Čechův most stop.
• Tram Lines Nos. 18 and 97, in the section Hradčanská – Malostranská, are diverted via the Sparta, Letenské náměstí, Strossmayerovo náměstí and Čechův most stops.
• Tram Line No. 20, leaving from Sídliště Barrandov, will have a shortened route to the Malostranská stop (by the metro station), from where it continues via the stops Právnická fakulta and Malostranská (in Letenská street) to Malostranské náměstí and further along its route, returning back in the direction of Sídliště Barrandov.
• Tram Line No. 21 is operating for the entire weekday (during peak times on the route Radlická – Sídliště Modřany and during off-peak times on the route Radlická – Nádraží Braník).
• Tram Line No. 22, leaving from Nádraží Hostivař, respectively Radošovická, will have a shortened route to the Malostranská stop (by the metro station), from where it continues through the Právnická fakulta and Malostranská stops (in Letenská street) to Malostranské náměstí and further along its route, returning back in the direction of Nádraží Hostivař, respectively Staré Strašnice.

Established Tram Lines

• Tram Line No. 30 on the route Divoká Šárka – Nádraží Veleslavín – Bořislavka – Dejvická – Hradčanská – Špejchar.
• Tram Line No. 32 on the route Vypich – U Kaštanu – Malovanka – Pražský hrad – Chotkovy sady – Hradčanská – Vozovna Střešovice – Vojenská nemocnice – Petřiny – Sídliště Petřiny.
• Tram Line No. 35 on the route Bílá Hora – Vypich – U Kaštanu – Malovanka – Brusnice – Prašný most – Hradčanská – Špejchar.

Changes to Tram Stops
 

For the duration of the closure, the Malostranská stop (heading in the direction towards Malostranské náměstí) in Letenská street, which is approximately 45 meters behind the intersection with Klárov street, and the Chotkovy sady stop (heading in the direction towards Hradčanská) is moved to Badeniho street, approximately 90 meters further along in the direction of travel.
 

Alternative Means of Transport

As an alternative means of transport, for the section Malostranská – Hradčanská, use the Metro Line A - daytime operations.
