Cinema bus

The 13th year of our popular cinema on wheels is now over. In addition to providing a good bit of fun and a flood of quality photographs, the Kinobus also helped us raise some funds for charity.

  • With its 44 evenings of screenings, the Kinobus hosted 8,176 viewers. The attendance record of 391 came to watch the French comedy “Will You Marry Me, Dude?” (in French: “Épouse-moi mon pote”) which was screened in Prosek.
  • Due to favorable weather conditions over the summer, not a single screening had to be canceled this year and the average attendance increased to 186 per show.
  • The most popular film overall was the French comedy “Will You Marry Me, Dude?”, which averaged 336 viewers, the Czechoslovak comedy “Over the Fingers“ (in Czech: “Přes prsty”) came in second with 259 average attendees. Coming in at number three was the American thriller “Rambo: The Last Blood” (248 viewers)
  • Top screening locations were Prosek, Hůrka, Bohnice and Čakovice.

We want to thank all of you who came to see one of our movie screenings this year and we are now looking forward to 2021 with more such events to be hosted by the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP).
