Hradčanská - Strossmayerovo náměstí: Temporary suspension of tram operation

Due to tram track repair, starting from Wednesday, 17 April 2024 and lasting until Sunday, 28 April 2024, there is temporarily no tram service between Hradčanská and Strossmayerovo náměstí.

Route changes of tram lines

• Tram 1 is diverted, between Hradčanská and Strossmayerovo náměstí, via the stops Chotkovy sady, Malostranská and Čechův most.
• Tram 8 is split into two parts:
  • In the direction from Nádraží Podbaba, it is diverted from the Hradčanská stop to the Špejchar turning loop
  • In the direction from Starý Hloubětín, it is shortened to the Strossmayerovo náměstí stop, and continues further as tram 25 in the direction of Lehovec
• Tram 12 is diverted, between Malostranská and Strossmayerovo náměstí, via the Čechův most stop.
• Tram 25 is split into two parts:
  • In the direction from Bílá Hora, it is diverted from the Hradčanská stop to the Špejchar turning loop
  • In the direction from Lehovec, it is shortened to the Strossmayerovo náměstí stop, and continues further as tram 8 in the direction of Starý Hloubětín
• Trams 26, 91 and 96 are diverted, between Hradčanská and Dlouhá třída, via the stops Chotkovy sady, Malostranská and Čechův most.

Route changes of tram lines (in the stated direction)

Historical line 41 is diverted, between Královský letohrádek and Strossmayerovo náměstí, via the stops Malostranská and Čechův most.

Changes to tram stops

The Malostranská stop is established on nábřeží Edvarda Beneše for both directions.

Replacement bus service

• In daytime operation, replacement bus service line X1 is established on the route Hradčanská – Strossmayerovo náměstí.

  • Sparta: in Milady Horákové street, at the stop of bus 909 in the direction of Sídliště Rohožník
  • Letenské náměstí: on Letenské náměstí, before the intersection with Milady Horákové street
  • Kamenická: in Milady Horákové street, at the tram stop
  • Strossmayerovo náměstí – terminal stop: in Milady Horákové street, at the tram stop
• Stops in the direction of Hradčanská:
  • Strossmayerovo náměstí – boarding stop: in Dukelských hrdinů street, at the stop of bus 156
  • Kamenická: in Milady Horákové street, at the tram stop
  • Letenské náměstí: on Letenské náměstí, before the intersection with Veletržní street
  • Sparta: in Milady Horákové street, at the stop of bus 909 in the direction of Suchdol
  • Hradčanská – terminal stop: in Na Valech street, approximately 40 metres before the intersection with Pod Baštami street
  • Hradčanská – terminal stop: (for selected connections) – in Milady Horákové street, at the stop of bus 909 in the direction of Suchdol
• In night operation, replacement bus service line X91 is established on the route Hradčanská – Strossmayerovo náměstí – Náměstí Republiky.
