Bus Line K

On Saturday, 28 March 2026, the retro bus line K will start its second season. Its route begins and ends at Strahov and takes passengers in a semi-circular route through Prague 6. The line operates on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The standard PID fare does not apply on the line.

Fares and timetable

Single fare for adults: CZK 150
Single fare for children up to 15 years of age, stroller with child, students up to 26 years of age, disabled (ZTP), and pensioners over 65 years of age: CZK 100
All-day fare (valid for 24 hours): CZK 400
All-day discounted fare (children from 4 to 15 years of age, students up to 26 years of age, disabled (ZTP), and pensioners over 65 years of age): CZK 300
Children under 3 years of age: free
The full-day ticket is also valid on lines No 41 and 42.
Tickets can be purchased at the DPP conductor after boarding the bus.
Tickets can be paid in cash or by card.
Once validated, the all-day ticket expires in 24 hours and is valid only on lines 42, 41 and K, and cannot be used on regular Prague public transport services.
The standard PID tariff is not valid on line K.

Vozovna Střešovice (Muzeum MHD), Park Maxe van der Stoela, Vítězné náměstí, Lotyšská, Čínská, Nádraží Podbaba, Výzkumný ústav vodohospodářský, V Podbabě, Břetislavka, Žežulka, Šatovka, Dolní Šárka, Na Mlýnku, Kalinův mlýn, Kuliška, Korek, Jenerálka, Bořislavka, Na Pískách, Starodejvická, Pod Vyhlídkou, Macharovo náměstí, Vozovna Střešovice (Muzeum MHD).

The line operates from approximately 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Interval: 80 min.
Journey time: 37 – 57 min.

Vehicles

Five buses have been allocated to operate the route. Passengers may recognize them from the recent retro service on routes No. 180 and 213. These are the vehicles Karosa B961.1970 (fleet no. 6379) from 2003, Karosa B951E.1713 (fleet no. 4068) from 2004, Irisbus Citybus 12M (fleet no. 3468) from 2004, and Irisbus Citelis 12M 2076.10 (fleet no. 3510) from 2006. Another addition to the fleet in 2024 was the Škoda 706 RTO MTZ from 1970 (fleet no. 4781).
