Bus Line K

From spring to autumn, DPP operates the retro bus line K. Its route starts and ends at Strahov and carries passengers through Prague 6 in a semi-circle, partly along the route of the trolleybus line that was introduced on 28 August 1936 on the route Vozovna Střešovice - Bořislavka - Hanspaulka - Svatý Matěj. The line operates on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The standard PID tariff does not apply on the line.

LATEST: Bus line K is in operation from Saturday 23^th March 2024 until Sunday 17^th November 2024.

Fares and timetable

Single fare for adults: CZK 100
Single fare for children up to 15 years of age, stroller with child, students up to 26 years of age, disabled (ZTP), and pensioners over 65 years of age: CZK 60
All-day fare (valid for 24 hours): CZK 350
All-day discounted fare (children from 4 to 15 years of age, students up to 26 years of age, disabled (ZTP), and pensioners over 65 years of age): CZK 250
Children under 3 years of age: free
The full-day ticket is also valid on lines No 41 and 42.
Tickets can be purchased at the DPP conductor after boarding the bus.
Tickets can be paid in cash or by card.
Once validated, the all-day ticket expires in 24 hours and is valid only on lines 42, 41 and K, and cannot be used on regular Prague public transport services.
The standard PID tariff is not valid on line K.
During the summer holidays, line 41 also operates every Wednesday.

Stadion Strahov – Koleje Strahov – Malovanka – Park Maxe van der Stoela – Vozovna Střešovice – Prašný most – Vítězné náměstí – Lotyšská – Na Santince – Dukla, Juliska – U Matěje – Špitálka – Dyrinka – Hanspaulka – Sušická – Na Pískách – Starodejvická – Pod Vyhlídkou – Macharovo náměstí – Vozovna Střešovice – Park Maxe van der Stoela – Pohořelec – Malovanka – Koleje Strahov – Stadion Strahov.

The line operates from approximately 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Interval: 40 min.
Journey time: 32 min.
