Starting from Saturday, 22 April 2023, retro bus line K is in operation. Its route starts and ends at Strahov and it will transport passengers around Prague 6, partially also in the route of the trolley-bus line which was established on 28 August 1936 on the route Vozovna Střešovice – Bořislavka – Hanspaulka – Svatý Matěj. The line is operated on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, in July and August also on Wednesdays.
Semi-circular route of line K: Stadion Strahov – Koleje Strahov – Malovanka – Park Maxe van der Stoela – Vozovna Střešovice – Prašný most – Vítězné náměstí – Lotyšská – Na Santince – Dukla, Juliska – U Matěje – Špitálka – Dyrinka – Hanspaulka – Sušická – Na Pískách – Starodejvická – Pod Vyhlídkou – Macharovo náměstí – Vozovna Střešovice – Park Maxe van der Stoela – Pohořelec – Malovanka – Koleje Strahov – Stadion Strahov.
The line is operated approximately from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Initially, six buses are set aside for the operation of the line, which passengers know from the recent retro operation on lines no. 180 and 213, namely the Karosa B951E.1713 (reg. no. 4998), Karosa B961.1970 (reg. no. 6379), Karosa B961.1970 (reg. no. 6380) of 2003, IrisbusCitybus 12M 2071.40 (reg. no. 3468), Karosa B951E.1713 (reg. no. 4999) of 2004 and IrisbusCitelis 12M2076.10 (reg. no. 3510) of 2006.
Fare
Adult single fare: CZK 100
Discounted single fare (children from 4 to 15 years old, students up to 26 years old, persons with severe health disability, seniors from 65 years old): CZK 60
Full all-day fare (24-hour validity): CZK 300
Discounted all-day fare (children from 4 to 15 years old, students up to 26 years old, persons with severe health disability, seniors from 65 years old): CZK 200
Children under 3 years old: free of charge
Full-day ticket is also valid on lines no. 41 and 42.
Tickets can be purchased from the Prague Public Transit Company’s conductor after having boarded the bus.
Tickets can be paid both in cash or by card.
Full-day ticket is valid for 24 hours after its validation only on lines no. 42, 41 and K; it cannot be used on standard regular connections of the Prague public transport.
The standard PID tariff does not apply on line K.
