DPP seeks supplier for up to 200 new standard buses

Prague, 14 July 2026 – The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) plans to purchase up to 100 new 12-metre mild-hybrid standard city buses and up to 100 diesel buses in the same category over the next five years. The procurement forms part of the ongoing modernisation and necessary renewal of DPP’s vehicle fleet and is in line with the company’s climate commitments. Today, DPP launched a public tender for the supply of up to 200 buses, with an estimated value of CZK 1.581 billion excluding VAT. DPP will conclude a five-year framework agreement with the successful bidder. By the end of this year, DPP also plans to launch another public tender for the purchase of up to 250 new articulated buses.
