The negotiation phase of the competitive dialogue for the supplier of automated trains and a transport system for Prague Metro Lines C and D has begun

Prague, 19 May 2026 - Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) has recently completed and concluded the qualification phase of the competitive dialogue for the supplier of automated trains and a transport system for Lines C and D of the Prague Metro. Both bidders, ALSTOM Czech Republic and the consortium of Siemens Mobility and ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION, met the qualification criteria, and DPP invited them to participate in the negotiation phase. This phase will result in the specification of a number of technical parameters of the public contract. The negotiation phase will be followed by the final tender phase, in which the bidders will be invited to submit their bids. The public procurement process is being monitored, and the open competition and transparent selection of the supplier are being overseen by the non-governmental anti-corruption organization Transparency International Czech Republic.
