Event description

Due to the repair of the tram line, starting on Saturday, 28 January 2023 (approximately from midnight), and lasting until Friday, 31 March 2023 (approximately to midnight), there is temporarily no tram service between Újezd and Malostranská.

Route changes of tram lines

  • Tram 12 is, in the direction from Výstaviště, diverted from the Chotkovy sady stop, via the stops Pražský hrad and Pohořelec, to the Malovanka stop.
  • Selected connections are operated only on the route Výstaviště – Špejchar.
  • Tram 15 is, in the direction from Olšanské hřbitovy, shortened to the Malostranská stop (stop on nábřeží Edvarda Beneše), and continues further as
    tram 20 in the direction of Divoká Šárka.
  • Tram 20 is, in the direction from Červený Vrch, shortened to the Malostranská stop (stop on nábřeží Edvarda Beneše), and continues further as tram 15 in the direction of Olšanské hřbitovy.
  • Tram 22 is, in the direction from Nádraží Hostivař, diverted from the Újezd stop, via the stops Švandovo divadloAnděl, Smíchovské nádraží and Hlubočepy, to the Sídliště Barrandov turning loop.
  • Tram 23 is, in the direction from Královka, diverted from the Malostranská stop (stop on nábřeží Edvarda Beneše), via the stops Čechův most and Strossmayerovo náměstí, to the Výstaviště turning loop.
  • Historical tram 42 is, between Lazarská and Malostranská, diverted, in the indicated direction, via the stops Karlovo náměstíPalackého náměstíNárodní divadlo and Staroměstská.
  • Tram 97 is, between Malostranská and Národní divadlo, diverted via the stops Staroměstská and Karlovy lázně.

Established tram line

Tram 32 is established in daytime operation on the following route in the indicated direction: Bílá Hora – Vypich – Malovanka – Pohořelec – Pražský hrad – Malostranská (on nábřeží Edvarda Beneše) – Právnická fakulta – Malostranská (at the metro) – Pražský hrad – Pohořelec – Malovanka – Vypich – Bílá Hora.

Replacement bus service

From 13 February 2023 to 31 March 2023, replacement bus service X20 is established in daytime operation on the route Malostranské náměstí – Malostranská – Malostranské náměstí.

Stops:

  • Malostranské náměstí: in Letenská street before the intersection with Josefská street
  • Malostranská: at the tram stop (near the metro, in the direction of Chotkovy sady)

As an alternative transport in the Náměstí Míru – Malostranská – Hradčanská section, we recommend using A line of the metro. To travel to Prague Castle, use tram 32 from the Malostranská metro station.

Changes in bus operation

  • From 13 February 2023 to 31 March 2023, bus 194 is operated on its regular route, for which the Malostranské náměstí stop is relocated to the southern edge of Malostranské náměstí, approximately 30 metres before the intersection with Karmelitská street.

The shared bicycle service option can be used in the excluded section.
