Czech Art Throughout the Centuries

On Saturday, 5 April 2008, the Prague Public Transit Co., the National Museum and the National Gallery in Prague are pleased to invite you to a showing of exceptional works of Czech art in the unique interiors of the Lapidarium and the Museum of Czech Cubism in the House of the Black Madonna.

 

At the Lapidarium of the National Museum, you will have a unique opportunity to see examples of Czech stone sculptures from the 11th to the 19th Century, and at the Museum of Czech Cubism at the House of the Black Madonna with the works of important Czech cubist painters. Pick up a personal Cool Tour passbook, and collect stamps from individual exhibitions of the National Museum and the National Gallery in Prague, and win attractive prizes. Visitors to the locations connected by the current Cool Tour line who have at least one stamp in their passbook will receive a 50% discount on admission.

During the Cool Tour on 5 April 2008, tickets to the Lapidarium will be issued at the box offices for the Výstaviště grounds due to St. Matthew's Fair taking place at the same time.
