In Pictures: Launch of Trolleybus Route 59

The opening ceremony of the route number 59 took place on the Wednesday afternoon of March 6, 2024. The line connecting Nádraží Veleslavín and Václav Havel Airport replaced bus route 119. The three-section battery-powered Škoda-Solaris 24m trolleybuses now service the entire route, and they all had a joint photo session on the now-unused airport runway 22 before the opening.
Regular service of the longest trolleybuses in the Czech Republic commenced
