Prague Public Transit Co.'s main process is public passenger transport. A number of related support activities that significantly affect the satisfaction of our customers - passengers are connected to this process.
We have been granted six quality management certificates, five of them according to the ISO 9001 standard and one certificate according to the EN 13816 standard. The requirements of these standards are regularly verified by external certification bodies.

Initial implementation of the first quality management system at the Tram Repair Depot. |

1995 |
Start of our membership in the Czech Society for Quality. |

1997 |
Establishment of a Service Quality Programme as a tool for measuring the quality of public passenger transport services. |

1998 |
Received the first quality management certificate according to the former ISO 9002 standard for the Tram Repair Depot. This was not only first certificate, but also the first certificate granted in public passenger transport in the Czech Republic. |

1999 |
Joined the Quality Club (CYQUAL) set up in Paris together with transit operators RATP Paris, STIB Brussels, Geneva and TPG Metro Madrid. |

2002 |
Certification according to the ISO 9001 standard for following activities: purchase, storage and issuance of spare parts, products and clothes in the Supplies Unit. |

2006 |
MOT (Technical Inspection Station) No. 31.03 obtained a certificate according to the ISO 9001 standard as required by Act No. 56/2001 Coll., on conditions for vehicle operation on roads. |

2007 |
Extension of certification per the ISO 9001 standard to metro line A. |

2008 |
Certification of metro line B according to the ISO 9001 standard for the main „Public Passenger Transport" process completed certification of all three metro lines. |

2009 |
Obtaining of certificate according to EN 13816 standard with an German accreditation body; |

2011 |
Change of certified body in 3 DPP units: the Central Bus Workshops, the Supplies Unit and the Technical Inspection Station, which are certified together with Metro Operation Unit according to ISO 9001:2008. |
