P+R facilities

The Prague Integrated Transport system also includes certain P+R (park + ride) locations close to public transport areas. These are currently the following car parks: Skalka I, II, Zličín I, II, Nové Butovice, Opatov, Chodov, Ládví, Rajská zahrada, Černý Most I, II , Palmovka, Radotín, Nádraží Holešovice, Běchovice and Depo Hostivař, almost all by metro stations, except for P+R Radotín and Běchovice. More detailed information regarding the usage of these car parks is in the Terms of Service of the car park, or can be found on http://www.tsk-praha.cz/web/doprava/parkovistePRstav/ (Czech).

After the metro stops operating (around 1:00 a.m.) the car park closes. Drivers pay CZK 100 for cars that haven't been picked up. Users are required to pay CZK 100 for not conforming to the Terms of Service of the P+R car park.

All P+R car parks provide a supplementary B+R (bike + ride) service, where bicycles can be parked free of charge. The car park superintendent gives the cyclist an identification card in exchange for a CZK 20 deposit. The bicycle is then returned to the holder of the identification card. Cyclists that leave their bicycles at the car park past operating hours, i.e. from 1:00 to 4:00 a.m., will, however, pay CZK 100. Due to the fact that parking and guarding bicycles at P+R car parks is free, cyclists are not eligible for a discount on return tickets on public transport. For the time being, each of the aforementioned car parks has one rack for five bicycles, with the exception of Zličin I, which has a rack for 10 bicycles. If increased interest is shown, additional racks will be provided.

Parking prices at P+R car parks and fares related to parking at P+R car parks

Tickets issued when parking in the P+R system are not sold in the normal distribution network are issued only from the ticket vending machines at P+R car parks along with the ticket for parking services (CZK 10). All documents from vending machines issued in relation to parking have two parts – a parking and transport ticket or control ticket. These travel tickets cannot be purchased independently of the parking ticket. The vending machines accept coins of CZK 1, 2, 5, 10 and CZK 20 denominations. The amount paid can be higher, as the vending machines return change. Please prepare the required coins in advance.

at P+R car parks connected to the Prague Integrated Transport system applicable to the day the service was provided until the car park closes for the day is CZK 10.

Holders of prepaid PIT passes for Zone P+0, or users that are entitled to free transport services in P+0 zones, will purchase only a parking ticket for their automobile.

Other users of the car park that do not possess prepaid transport passes and are not entitled to free transport services in P+0 zones can purchase, along with the parking ticket:

  • a full-fare return transfer ticket issued when parking at P+R car parks, for the price of CZK 40
Zone validity in the City of Prague (in Zones P+0). Usage of the ticket is limited to the day of (parking) purchase until the car park closes for the day. Validity in any one direction is 60 minutes from the time of validation (time-stamped); during off-peak times (Workdays from 8:00 p.m. until the car park closes, Saturdays and Sundays during the car park's entire operating hours) validity is extended to 90 minutes. The ticket is validated for the trip there and the trip back at opposite ends of the ticket. This type of ticket thus has two stamping fields on both ends of the ticket. A full-fare return ticket issued when parking at P+R car parks is a transfer ticket.
  • one-day full-fare ticket issued when parking at P+R car parks, valid on the day of purchase until the car park closes, for the price of CZK 80
Zone validity in the City of Prague (in Zones P+0). Ticket validity is limited to the day of (parking) purchase until the car park closes for the day. A one-day full-fare ticket issued when parking at P+R car parks issued by a vending machine at car parks does not need to be time-stamped.

Be sure to keep your transport tickets, as they will be checked by car park staff upon your departure!
Place the parking ticket in your vehicle where it will be visible from the outside.
