Legal basis for the processing of your personal data:

The processing of your personal data is necessary for performance of a contract with the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP), to which you are a contracting party. (tram rental order, use of premises, etc.) and general compliance with legal obligations (e.g. under Act No. 370/2017 Sb., on payment systems; Act No. 235/2004 Sb., on value-added-tax; and, Act 89/2012 Sb., the Civil Code, etc.). We are able to send business (contact-related) information on the basis of  our  legitimate interests.

Processed Personal Data

Processed personal data include identification and contact information (first and last name, email address and phone number,address of permanent residence and identification number).

Your personal data are being processed in order to do the following

• to provide a service (performance of our contract),
• to comply with legal obligations
• to provide business-related news announcements.

Recipients or categories of recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be passed on to third parties (recipients) only for the purposes referenced above. Your personal data are transferred to state administration bodies on a basis of a legal obligation. 

The period for which the personal data will be stored and the criteria used to determine this period

Your personal data are processed for the time period necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing. The Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) will delete personal data as soon as the purposes of processing cease to exist.

The time period, for which the personal data will be stored is determined on the basis of the following criteria:

• Validity of the contract: We process your personal data for the period of our mutual contractual relationship (i.e. for the time period during which you are using the services of the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP).
• The case of contract termination: Upon termination of the contract, we process your personal data until you, or the company, can assert any claims against the other party on the basis of the terminated contract; or, as otherwise required under the law.
• Litigation and other proceedings: Should the processing of your personal data be relevant to any proceedings in which the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) is a party (or intervener), we will process your personal data for the entire duration of these proceedings and for any related subsequent or ancillary proceedings.

For example, when an order is cancelled when complaint is issued, the company will only process your personal data for that period of time for which it is absolutely necessary to do so in order to properly handle the matter or for a maximum time period of 1 year, unless your personal data is also being processed for another purpose.
