Event description

Starting from Saturday, 5 June 2021, there are several permanent changes and modifications to the operation of the Prague Integrated Transport:

In particular, the introduction of a new tram line and the related changes to the routes of selected lines in the eastern part of Prague.

Trams

  • New tram 19 is established on the route Lehovec – Hloubětín – Kolbenova – Nádraží Vysočany – Palmovka – Biskupcova – Želivského – Strašnická – Kubánské náměstí – Koh-i-noor – Nádraží Vršovice – Otakarova (only in this direction) – Náměstí Bratří Synků – Pražského povstání – Kotorská – Pankrác.
  • Tram 5 is newly run on the route Sídliště Barrandov … Olšanské náměstí – Olšanská – Nákladové nádraží Žižkov – Biskupcova – Ohrada – Vozovna Žižkov. (the tram will be operated on the new regular route after the suspension in the Hlavní nádraží – Husinecká section has ended)
  • Tram 13 is shortened to the route Čechovo náměstí – Olšanské hřbitovy. (the tram will be operated on the new regular route after the suspension in the Hlavní nádraží – Husinecká section has ended)
  • Tram 16 is newly run on the route Sídliště Řepy (Kotlářka) … Želivského – Vinohradské hřbitovy – Vinice – Černokostelecká – Depo Hostivař – Ústřední dílny DP.
  • Tram 24 is newly shortened to the route Březiněveská / Kobylisy … Otakarova (only in this direction) – Náměstí Bratří Synků (exit in Na Zámecké street, boarding in the tram turning loop).

Changes to tram stops

The following stops are established:

  • Kotorská (in both directions) in Na Pankráci street, at the intersection with Na Veselí street.
  • Náměstí Bratří Synků (in the direction of Nádraží Vršovice) in Na Zámecké street, approximately 50 metres behind the intersection with Čestmírova street.
  • Želivského (in the direction of Nákladové nádraží Žižkov) in Jana Želivského street, approximately 100 metres behind the intersection with Vinohradská street.

The Pražského povstání stop is relocated (for both directions) to náměstí Hrdinů.

Buses

Selected connections of bus 193 are shortened to the route Šeberák – Pražského povstání.

Changes to bus stops

The following stops are established:

  • Kotorská (in both directions for buses 193, 905, 910) in the newly established tram stop.
  • Pražského povstání (terminal stop for selected connections of bus 193) at the stop of bus 134 in Děkanská vinice I street.

The following stops are relocated:

  • Pražského povstání (in the direction of Podolská vodárna for bus 134) approximately by 50 metres forwards to the traffic line of Děkanská vinice I street.
  • Pražského povstání (in the direction of Nádraží Vršovice for bus 193) to the newly established tram stop.

 

 

Please note that the maps and diagrams of the routes in permanent status posted at stops, in the metro stations and in vehicles will be updated only with the planned permanent changes in the routing of lines as of 15 September 2021 in connection with the construction of a new terminal at the Praha – Zahradní Město railway station.
