Event description
22 December – 23 December 2025 (Monday – Tuesday)
BUSES: Lines are operated in line with holiday timetables.
24 December 2025 (Wednesday) – Christmas Eve
PID lines (except for trains) are operated in line with timetables for Saturday.
- METRO: Approximately from 6:00 p.m. to the end of operation, all lines are operated with the interval of 20 minutes.
- TRAMS: The operation of daytime lines is terminated approximately at 6:00 p.m. The operation of night lines is ensured approximately from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 7:00 a.m. on 25 December 2025 with regular intervals.
- TROLLEYBUSES AND BUSES: The operation of daytime lines is terminated approximately at 6:00 p.m. (except for line 59).
- From approximately 6:00 p.m. to approximately 7:00 a.m. on 25 December 2025, night lines are operated with regular intervals and serve the terminals Letňany, Roztyly, Skalka and Zličín during the metro operation period.
- Suburban lines are operated in line with timetables for Saturday, with applicable restrictions marked, selected night lines are operated in line with special timetables.
- FERRIES: The operation is terminated by the last cruise at 6:00 p.m.
- TRAINS: The operation of trains in line with timetables for Sunday is terminated approximately between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., afterwards limited operation is maintained until approximately 10:00 p.m.
25 December 2025 (Thursday) – Christmas Day
PID lines are operated in line with holiday timetables for Sunday.
- TRAMS: The operation of daytime lines is launched approximately at 7:00 a.m.
- TROLLEYBUSES AND BUSES: The operation of daytime lines is launched approximately at 7:00 a.m., line 59 is operated from approximately 4:30 a.m.
- Night lines serve the terminals Letňany, Roztyly, Skalka and Zličín during the metro operation period.
- Suburban lines are operated in line with timetables for Sunday, with applicable restrictions marked.
26 December 2025 (Friday) – Boxing Day
PID lines are operated in line with holiday timetables for Sunday.
27 December – 30 December 2025 (Saturday – Tuesday)
PID lines are operated in line with holiday timetables.
TRAMS: Tram 21 is not in service.
31 December 2025 (Wednesday) – New Year’s Eve
PID lines are operated in line with holiday timetables.
- METRO: The operation is extended until approximately 2:30 a.m. on 1 January 2026 with the interval of 10 minutes.
- Departures of last connections from the terminal stations:
- Line A – Nemocnice Motol at 1:51 a.m., Depo Hostivař at 1:53 a.m.
- Line B – Zličín at 1:40 a.m., Černý Most at 1:45 a.m.
- Line C – Letňany at 1:44 a.m., Háje at 1:44 a.m.
- TRAMS: The operation of daytime lines is terminated approximately at 10:00 p.m. Enhanced operation of night lines is ensured from approximately 10:00 p.m. to approximately 7:00 a.m. on 1 January 2026.
- Tram 21 is not in service.
- TROLLEYBUSES AND BUSES: The operation of most daytime lines is terminated approximately at 10:00 p.m. Subsequently, selected lines are operated with adjusted intervals. The operation of night lines is ensured from approximately 2:30 a.m. to approximately 7:00 a.m. on 1 January 2026.
- Night lines serve the terminals Letňany, Roztyly, Skalka and Zličín during the metro operation period.
- Suburban lines are operated in line with valid timetables, with applicable restrictions marked.
- TRAINS: The operation of trains is terminated approximately at 8:00 p.m., afterwards limited operation is maintained until approximately 10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with the interval of 60 minutes.
1 January 2026 (Thursday) – New Year’s Day
PID lines are operated the same as on Thursday, 25 December 2025.
2 – 4 January 2026 (Friday – Sunday)
PID lines are operated in line with holiday timetables.
TRAMS: Tram 21 is not in service.
