Currently Valid Changes in Operation

Effective from Tuesday, 17 March 2020, all travellers must cover their nose and mouth before entering Prague public transport premises and vehicles. Please use a face mask, bandana or scarf. Be kind and courteous to each other and to drivers/operators. Please be aware that drivers/operators are authorised to remove passengers not wearing a cover over their nose and mouth from public transport.

Metro:

  • The summer operating schedule is in place

  • Given the current situation, the operation of some toilets in the metro stations is limited. You can find the current status at this link.

Trams:

  • Tram 23 is cancelled
  • Summer operating schedule is in place (valid from Monday, 23 March 2020)
  • Tram 16 is in service during peak hours also in the section Kotlářka – Sídliště Řepy
  • The last departure of trams 2, 8, 12, 13 and 15 from their respective end stations is at approximately 10:30 p.m.
  • The reinforced weekend operating schedules for night buses 91 - 99 are cancelled and replaced with the regular weekday operating schedules

Boarding and leaving trams (except for 14T and 15T type) using the first door has been restricted. We ask passengers to keep sufficient distance from the driver’s cabin. The first door of trams affected by this measure is marked with an information sticker.

Buses:

  • On Saturday, 28 March 2020, the service of buses 142, 144, 200, 150, 152, 176, 189, 196, 207, 213, 230, 245 stops until further notice, with the last departure from their respective end stations at 10.30 p.m. VALID FROM 28 MARCH   
  • The service of buses 101, 108, 110, 115, 116, 117, 121, 124, 130, 138, 143, 147, 149, 151, 153, 155, 158, 160, 164, 165, 168, 169, 170, 172, 175, 185, 199, 202, 203, 204, 208, 209, 224, 228, 236, 240, 246 and 247 stops at 10:30 p.m. until further notice
  • The operating schedules for buses 101 and 108 are modified to coincide with work shifts at Ústřední vojenská nemocnice and Zentiva;
  • Summer operating schedule is in place for buses 101, 102, 103, 106, 107, 109, 110, 111, 113, 118, 123, 124, 125, 129, 131, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 147, 149, 150, 151, 152, 154, 157, 158, 161, 162, 165, 167, 169, 170, 171, 174, 175, 176, 177, 180, 181, 182, 183, 184, 185, 186, 188, 189, 190, 191, 193, 195, 196, 197, 199, 200, 201, 202, 207, 213, 215, 221, 223, 225, 229, 231, 241, 245, 247, 250
  • Bus AE is cancelled; 
  • All request stops across Prague are cancelled; 
  • Bus 112 – full-day restriction (longer intervals);
  • Bus 236 – full-day restriction (longer intervals);
  • Bus 107 – full-day restriction (longer intervals);
  • Bus 119 will now be running on weekdays in the early morning at 7.5-minute intervals/ in the late morning at 15-minute intervals/ in the afternoon at 10-minute intervals/ in the evening at 20-minute intervals, at the weekend at 20/15/15/20-minute intervals with bus 225 running intermittently between these intervals in the section Divoká Šárka – Nádraží Veleslavín
  • Bus 100 will now be running on weekdays at 15/30/20/40-minute intervals, at weekends at 24/24/24/40-minute intervals with bus 191 running intermittently between these intervals in the section K Letišti – Letiště, with priority given to journeys from the airport to the city centre;
  • Bus 143 – full-day restriction (longer intervals); 
  • Bus 147 – coordinated with bus 107 (no changes) 
  • School buses 251-275 are cancelled; 
  • Operating schedules of city buses connecting to suburban buses will be modified based on a decision of the Central Bohemian Region to introduce the summer operating schedule for Prague Integrated Transport suburban and regional lines from 14 March 2020;
  • Suburban buses numbered 300 and up will be running according to modified operating schedules; 
  • The reinforced weekend operating schedules for night buses 904, 905, 910, 911, 912 and 915 are cancelled and replaced with regular weekday operating schedules according to the weekday graphic schedule; 
  • Trolley-bus 58 is cancelled

Front doors of city and suburban buses have been closed physically and passengers are prevented from entering the boarding area at the driver. First-row seats are blocked as well. Travel documents can be purchased using vending machines, SMS tickets or mobile app PID lítačka.

Funicular

For operational reasons, funicular to Petřín is cancelled until further notice.
