Currently Valid Changes in Operation

Effective from Tuesday, 17 March 2020, all travellers must cover their nose and mouth before entering Prague public transport premises and vehicles. Please use a face mask, bandana or scarf. Be kind and courteous to each other and to drivers/operators. Please be aware that drivers/operators are authorised to remove passengers not wearing a cover over their nose and mouth from public transport.

Request stops

Starting on Monday, 11 May 2020 the operation of request stops is resumed in bus and tram transport. Buses and trams stop if passengers are present at the stop. Passengers intending to get off at the stop must use the internal signalling device in time. In a bus or a trolleybus, the button of “Signal to driver (STOP)” or the button of “Request to open the door” is to be used. In a tram, the button of “Request to open the door” is to be used. When stopped, drivers continue to open all doors (except the front door) for faster exchange of air and passengers in the vehicle.

  • The last departure of trams 281315 and 20 valid from 18 May from their respective terminal stations is at approximately 10:30 p.m.
  • The reinforced weekend operating schedules for night buses 91 - 99 are cancelled and replaced with the regular weekday operating schedules

Since the night from Wednesday, 1 April 2020, to Thursday, 2 April 2020, the front door has been closed for boarding and leaving trams and the area around the driver’s cabin has been physically separated from the passenger compartment (except for 14T and 15T tram type). Information signs at the closed doors and in the vehicles of the affected trams draw attention to this measure.

  • Bus AE is cancelled;
  • The service of bus 100 stops at approximately 9:00 p.m., running on weekdays at 15/30/20/40-minute intervals, at weekends at 40/24/24/40-minute intervals with bus 191 running intermittently between these intervals in the section K Letišti – Letiště, with priority given to journeys from the airport to the city centre;
  • Bus 107 – full-day restriction (longer intervals);
  • Bus 112 – running on weekdays in the early morning at 7.5-minute intervals/ in the late morning at 7.5-minute intervals/ in the afternoon at 7.5-10-minute intervals/ in the evening at 15-20-minute intervals, at the weekend at 20-15/4-5/5-4/15-20-minute intervals
  • Bus 119 running on weekdays in the early morning at 7.5-minute intervals/ in the late morning at 15-minute intervals/ in the afternoon at 10-minute intervals/ in the evening at 20-minute intervals, at the weekend at 20/15/15/20-minute intervals with bus 225 running intermittently between these intervals in the section Divoká Šárka – Nádraží Veleslavín
  • Bus 143 – full-day restriction (longer intervals);
  • Bus 147 – coordinated with bus 107 (no changes); 
  • Bus 236 – operating schedule without summer service reinforcement;
  • Operating schedules of city buses connecting to suburban buses are modified based on a decision of the Central Bohemian Region to introduce the summer operating schedule for Prague Integrated Transport suburban and regional lines from 14 March 2020
  • Suburban buses numbered 300 and up running according to modified operating schedules;
  • The reinforced weekend operating schedules for night buses 904905910, 911912 and 915 are cancelled and replaced with regular weekday operating schedules according to the weekday graphic schedule;
  • Trolleybus 58 is cancelled

Front doors of city buses have been closed physically and passengers are prevented from entering the boarding area at the driver. First-row seats are blocked as well. Travel documents can be purchased using vending machines or mobile app PID lítačka.


  • Service launched on Monday, 11 May 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Maximum capacity of the funicular is 30 persons (6 passengers in one compartment of the vehicle)
  • With regard to the maximum capacity of the funicular, vehicles do not stop in the Nebozízek station.

We kindly ask passengers to keep 2-metre distance between each other while waiting for the funicular, to use contactless payments for ticket purchase and to comply with the regulation regarding the cover of nose and mouth.
