Sparta–Hradčanská: ongoing transit restrictions

Due to continuing construction of the Blanka Tunnel on Letná, tram service in the stretch Sparta – Hradčanská will be interrupted in both directions from the start of daytime operation on 28 June 2008 until the end of 2008:

• Lines 1 and 56, in the stretch Strossmayerovo náměstí – Hradčanská, will continue to be diverted via the stops Čechův most, Malostranská (on nábřeží Ed. Beneše, only in the direction of Hradčanská) and Chotkovy sady,
• Line 5, in the stretch Masarykovo nádraží – Výstaviště, will be diverted via the stops Bílá labuť, Vltavská and Strossmayerovo náměstí,
• Line 8, in the stretch Dlouhá třída – Hradčanská, will be diverted via the stops Čechův most, Malostranská (on nábřeží Ed. Beneše, only in the direction of Hradčanská) and Chotkovy sady, and from the Vítězné náměstí stop will run via the stops Bořislavka and Červený Vrch to the Divoká Šárka turnabout, where it will end,
• Line 14, in the stretch Masarykovo nádraží – Nádraží Holešovice, will be diverted via the stops Bílá labuť, Vltavská, Dělnická and Ortenovo náměstí,
• Line 15 will not be in operation for the time of the service interruption
• Line 20 in the direction from Smíchovské nádraží will continue to be diverted to the Vítězné náměstí stop to the Podbaba turnabout, where it will end,
• Line 23 in the direction from Kubánské náměstí will be extended to the Vypich turnabout, where it will end,
• Line 25 in the direction from Vozovna Kobylisy will be shortened and ended at the Sparta stop,
• Line 26, in the stretch Masarykovo nádraží – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via the Náměstí Republiky stop, and at the same time shortened and ended at the Sparta stop,
• Line 51, in the stretch Dlouhá třída – Hradčanská, will continue to be diverted via the stops Čechův most, Malostranská (on nábřeží Ed. Beneše, only in the direction of Hradčanská) and Chotkovy sady,
• bus lines 108, 174 and 216 in the direction from Vozovna Střešovice will be diverted via the Kafkova stop to the Dejvická turnabout, where they will end.

Substitute transit service

during daytime operation

• a special tram Line 36 will serve the stretch Bílá Hora – Malovanka – Vozovna Střešovice – Vítězné náměstí – Dejvická – Bořislavka – Divoká Šárka,
• substitute bus Line X-1 will serve the stretch Letenské náměstí – Hradčanská – Vozovna Střešovice.

during night operation

• substitute bus Line X-56 will serve the stretch Strossmayerovo náměstí – Hradčanská – Vozovna Střešovice.

From the start of daytime service on 28 June 2008 until the end of night operation on 30 June 2008, both substitute bus lines in the direction from Letenské náměstí will be shortened to end at the Hradčanská stop.

Stop changes

• for Line 216, the Vozovna Střešovice stop will be relocated from Cukrovarnická St. to Patočkova St., to the stop for Line 108,
• a stop named Malostranská will be set up in the direction of Hradčanská on nábřeží Ed. Beneše at the occasional tram stop.
