Prašný most – intersection of Milady Horákové × U Brusnice: tram service interruption (lins 1, 2, 15, 18, 25, 56 and 57)

Tram operation between Špejchar and Vítězné náměstí will resume in both directions on 1 September 2010. Due to ongoing construction work on the City Ring Road, tram service will now continue to be interrupted in both directions until 1 October 2010 only in the stretch Prašný most – intersection of Milady Horákové × U Brusnice::

• lines 1 and 56 will be diverted in the stretch Sparta – Vozovna Střešovice via the Hradčanská (in Badeniho St.) and Pražský hrad stops
• line 2 will continue to be out of service,
• line 15 in the direction from Vysočanská will be diverted at the Sparta stop to the Špejchar turnabout, where it will end; during workday morning peak times, it will run from the Sparta stop via the Hradčanská, Vítězné náměstí, Dejvická and Červený Vrch stops to the Divoká Šárka turnabout, where it will end,
• line 18 will be diverted in the stretch Malostranská – Vozovna Střešovice via the Pražský hrad stop,
• line 25 will be diverted in the stretch Sparta – Malovanka via the Hradčanská (in Badeniho St.), Pražský hrad and Pohořelec stops, and will then continue along its regular route to Vypich; in the direction towards the city centre, the line runs between the Malovanka and Brusnice stops via the Hládkov stop (in Hládkov St.),
• line 57 will be diverted in the stretch Malostranská – Malovanka via the Pražský hrad and Pohořelec stops.

Stop changes

Due to this service interruption, a new Hradčanská stop will be set up (in Badeniho St. by its intersection with Na Valech). At the same time, the Chotkovy sady stop is temporarily cancelled in both directions.

Substitute bus or tram service will no longer be provided.
