Due to construction of the Blanka Tunnel on Letná, another phase of bidirectional tram service interruptions in the stretch Sparta – Hradčanská will continue into the 1st quarter of 2009:
- tram line routes will not change (previous state of restrictions),
- starting on 11 July 2008 (9:00 p.m.) the Hradčanská tram stop will be relocated in both directions to only the two inner platforms; the outer tram tracks will be out of operation,
- starting on 14 July 2008 (4:30 a.m.) substitute buses X-1 and X-56 in the direction from Letenské náměstí will have their routes shortened to end at the Hradčanská stop; the boarding stop will be Na Valech Street, behind its intersection with K Brusce Street,
- at the same time, the exits and entrances to the metro from/to the out-of-service tram platforms and the bus platform in Milady Horákové Street in the direction from the city centre will be closed.
- the Hradčanská stop for the special bus line for the handicapped, will be relocated in the direction of Vypich to Na Valech Street, behind its intersection with K Brusce Street.
