Changes to public transport during the running of the 2012 Prague International Marathon

Sunday 13th May 2012 will see the running of the traditional Prague International Marathon. In connection with this event the following service changes will take place from approximately 8:45 to 16:00.

From approx. 8:45 to approx. 9:30 :

Service No. 1, section Strossmayerovo náměstí - Maniny, will be diverted via Výstaviště and Nádraží Holešovice
Service No 3, section Bílá labuť - Palmovka, will be diverted via Florenc and Invalidovna
Service No. 5, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště, will be diverted via Veletržní
Service No. 12, section Malostranská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Letenské náměstí
Service 17, section Jiráskovo náměstí – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Václavské náměstí and Náměstí Republiky
Service No. 18, section Národní divadlo – Malostranská, will be diverted via Újezd and Malostranské náměstí
Service No 25, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Palmovka, will be diverted via Těšnov, Florenc and Invalidovna

From approx. 9:30 to approx. 12:15 :

Service No. 1, section Strossmayerovo náměstí - Maniny, will be diverted via Výstaviště and Nádraží Holešovice
Service No. 3 will be divided into two parts: From Lehovec it will be diverted from Karlovo náměstí via I. P. Pavlova and Náměstí Bratří Synků to Vozovna Pankrác; in section Palmovka – Bílá labuť it will be diverted via Invalidovna and Florenc From Levského it will be shortened to the Dvorce turning loop
Service No. 5, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště, will be diverted via Veletržní
Service No. 7, section from Ústřední dílny DP, will be diverted from Nádraží Vršovice to the turning loop at Náměstí Bratří Synků
Service No. 9 will be divided into two parts: From Sídliště Řepy it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd - then will continue as service No. 22 towards Bílá Hora, from Spojovací it will be shortened to the stop at Lazarská, and will then continue as service No. 22 to the stop at Karlovo náměstí then along the route of service No. 22 to Nádraží Hostivař.
Service No. 10 will be divided into two parts: From Palmovka it will be shortened to the stop at Karlovo náměstí and will then continue as service No. 14 to the stop at Lazarská and then along the route of service No. 14 towards Vozovna Kobylisy; from Sídliště Řepy it will be shortened to the stop at Anděl and will then continue as service No. 14 to Sídliště Barrandov.
Service No. 12, section Malostranská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Letenské náměstí
Service No. 14 will be divided into two parts: From Sídliště Barrandov it will be shortened to the stop at Anděl - then will continue as service No. 10 towards Sídliště Řepy; from Vozovna Kobylisy it will be shortened to the stop at Lazarská – and will then continue as service No. 10 to the stop at Karlovo náměstí, then along the route of service No. 10 to Palmovka.
Service No. 16 will be divided into two parts: From Spojovací it will be diverted from Náměstí Míru via I. P. Pavlova, Muzeum, Jiřího z Poděbrad and Flora back to Spojovací; from Kotlářka it will be diverted from Anděl via the stop at Na Knížecí to Radlická
Service No. 17 from Sídliště Ďáblice will be diverted from the stop at Strossmayerovo náměstí via Dlouhá třída, Náměstí Republiky, Bílá labuť, Těšnov a Vltavská back to Sídliště Ďáblice
Service No. 18 will be divided into two parts: From Petřiny it will terminate at the Špejchar turning loop; from Vozovna Pankrác it will be diverted from the stop at Náměstí Bratří Synků via the following stops: Nuselské schody, I. P. Pavlova, Muzeum and Flora, to Olšanské hřbitovy.
Service No. 22 will be divided into two parts: From Bílá Hora it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd – then will continue as service No. 9 towards Sídliště Řepy; from Nádraží Hostivař it will be shortened to the stop at Karlovo náměstí , and will then continue as service No. 9 to the stop at Lazarská – and then along the route of service No. 9 towards Spojovací.
Service No. 24, section Karlovo náměstí – Otakarova, will be diverted via I. P. Pavlova
Service No 25, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Palmovka, will be diverted via Těšnov, Florenc and Invalidovna

From approx. 12:15 to approx. 13:15 :

Service No. 1, section Strossmayerovo náměstí - Maniny, will be diverted via Výstaviště and Nádraží Holešovice
Service No. 3 will be divided into two parts: From Lehovec it will be diverted from Moráň via Albertov and Náměstí Bratří Synků toVozovna Pankrác; for section Palmovka – Bílá labuť it will be diverted via Invalidovna and Florenc. From Levského it will be shortened to the Dvorce turning point
Service No. 5, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště, will be diverted via Veletržní
Service No. 7, section from Ústřední dílny DP, will be diverted from Nádraží Vršovice to the turning loop at Náměstí Bratří Synků
Service No. 9 will be divided into two parts: From Sídliště Řepy it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd – then will continue as service No. 22 towards Bílá Hora, from Spojovací it will be shortened to the stop at Lazarská – and will then continue as service No. 22 to the stop at Karlovo náměstí and then along the route of service No. 22 towards Nádraží Hostivař.
Service No. 10 will be divided into two parts: From Palmovka it will be shortened to the stop at Karlovo náměstí – and will then continue as service No. 14 to the stop at Lazarská and then along the route of service No. 14, towards Vozovna Kobylisy; from Sídliště Řepy it will be shortened to the stop at Anděl – and will then continue as service No. 14 to Sídliště Barrandov.
Service No. 12, section Malostranská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Letenské náměstí
Service No. 14 will be divided into two parts: From Sídliště Barrandov it will be shortened to the stop at Anděl – then will continue as service No. 10 towards Sídliště Řepy; from Vozovna Kobylisy it will be shortened to the stop at Lazarská – and will then continue as service No. 10 to the stop at Karlovo náměstí, then along the route of service No. 10 to Palmovka.
Service No. 16 will be divided into two parts: From Spojovací it will be diverted from Náměstí Míru via I. P. Pavlova, Muzeum, Jiřího z Poděbrad and Flora back to Spojovací; from Kotlářka it will be diverted from Anděl via the stop at Na Knížecí to Radlická.
Service No. 17 from Sídliště Ďáblice will be diverted from the stop at Strossmayerovo náměstí via Dlouhá třída, Náměstí Republiky, Bílá labuť, Těšnov and Vltavská back to Sídliště Ďáblice.
Service No. 18 will be divided into two parts: From Petřiny it will terminate at the Špejchar turning loop; from Vozovna Pankrác it will be diverted from the stop at Náměstí Bratří Synků via the following stops: Nuselské schody, I. P. Pavlova, Muzeum and Flora to Olšanské hřbitovy.
Service No. 22 will be divided into two parts: From Bílá Hora it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd – then will continue as service No. 9 towards Sídliště Řepy; from Nádraží Hostivař it will be shortened to the stop at Karlovo náměstí – and will then continue as service No. 9 to the stop at Lazarská – and then along the route of service No. 9 towards Spojovací.
Service No 25, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Palmovka, will be diverted via Těšnov, Florenc and Invalidovna.

From approx. 13:15 to approx. 14:15 :

Service No. 1, section Strossmayerovo náměstí - Maniny, will be diverted via Výstaviště and Nádraží Holešovice.
Service No 3, section Palmovka – Bílá labuť, will be diverted via Invalidovna and Florenc
Service No. 5, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště, will be diverted via Veletržní
Service No. 9 will be divided into two parts: From Sídliště Řepy it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd – then will continue as service No. 22 towards Bílá Hora; from Spojovací it will be shortened to the stop at Lazarská – and will then continue as service No. 22 to the stop at Karlovo náměstí and then along the route of service No. 22 towards Nádraží Hostivař.
Service No. 12, section Malostranská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Letenské náměstí
Service 17, section Jiráskovo náměstí – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Václavské náměstí and Náměstí Republiky
Service No. 18 will be divided into two parts: From Petřiny will be terminated at the Špejchar turning loop; for the section Albertov – Karlovo náměstí it will be diverted via Výtoň, Palackého náměstí, Jiráskovo náměstí, Myslíkova, Karlovo náměstí back to Vozovna Pankrác.
Service No. 22 will be divided into two parts: From Bílá Hora it will be shortened to the stop at Újezd – then will continue as service No. 9 towards Sídliště Řepy; from Nádraží Hostivař it will be shortened to the stop at Karlovo náměstí – and will then continue as service No. 9 to the stop at Lazarská – and then along the route of service No. 9 towards Spojovací.
Service No 25, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Palmovka, will be diverted via Těšnov, Florenc and Invalidovna.

From approx. 14:15 to approx. 14:45 :

Service No. 1, section Strossmayerovo náměstí - Maniny, will be diverted via Výstaviště and Nádraží Holešovice.
Service No 3, section Palmovka – Bílá labuť, will be diverted via Invalidovna and Florenc.
Service No. 5, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště, will be diverted via Veletržní
Service No. 12, section Malostranská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Letenské náměstí
Service 17, section Jiráskovo náměstí – Strossmayerovo náměstí, will be diverted via Václavské náměstí and Náměstí Republiky
Service No. 18, section Národní divadlo – Malostranská, will be diverted via Újezd and Malostranské náměstí.
Service No 25, section Strossmayerovo náměstí – Palmovka, will be diverted via Těšnov, Florenc and Invalidovna.

From approx. 14:45 to approx. 16:00 :

Service No. 17, section Čechův most – Staroměstská, will be diverted via Malostranská

Please note: services No. 21 and 91 will begin operation at approx. 14:15.

Replacement bus service:

From approx. 9:30 to approx. 13:15 a replacement bus service X-3 will be run on the section Dvorce – Budějovická – Dvorce.

The departure and alighting stop at Dvorce will be set up in Podolská street at the stops of service No. 118.
The stops at Pod Pekařkou, Nové Podolí and Na Strži will be set up in both directions at Jeremenkova street, at the stops of service No. 118.
The stops at Ryšánka, Antala Staška and Poliklinika Budějovická will be set up in Antala Staška street, at the stops of service No. 124 (in the Želivského direction).
The stops at Budějovická and Krčská will be set up in Olbrachtova street at the stops of service No. 118, in the direction of Dvorce.

Changes to bus routes:

Service No. 207 from 08:45 to 16:00 will use a semi-circular route from Ohrada – Nemocnice Na Františku (in Klášterská street)
Service No. 176, from Stadion Strahov, is diverted from 9:30 to 11:35 from the stop at Arbesovo náměstí to the turning loop at Na Knížecí.

In connection with these extensive changes, for the duration of the marathon the guaranteed provision of wheelchair access trams will operate differently from that in the timetable.

In view of these changes we especially recommend making use of the Metro. In the event of additional operational demand Metro services in the central area of the city will be reinforced.
