Public Transport Museum to open, historical line no. 91 to set off to the streets

Starting on Friday, the 25th of March 2016, the Public Transport Museum in Prague – Střešovice is re-opening for visitors again. More over, traffic in the streets will be liven up by a historical tram line no 91.

After a six-month pause, the Public Transport Museum will open for public. During the past weeks, the exposition in its premises has been innovated and at the same time expanded by a new exhibit known from all tram tracks reconstructions – welding truck Praga V3S. These trucks have been used by the Prague Public Transit Company for sixty years, thus their placement in the Museum is fully deserved. The Public Transport Museum can be visited from the 25th of March 2016 to the 17th of November 2016 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, specifically from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Together with the Museum re-opening, the historical tram line no. 91 returns to the streets of Prague. Those interested in an unconventional ride can join the tram on its regular route through the city centre. Just like the Museum, also the tram is operated from the 25th of March 2016 to the 17th of November 2016 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from noon to cca. 5.35 p.m.

Finally, we cannot forget to mention a popular attraction in the Prague ZOO area – local funicular returns to operation on Thursday, the 24th of March 2016.
