The Prague Public Transport Company prepared for its passengers a unique project. They can now download into their Apple iPhone equipment the electronic version of the book 33 Prague Trips.

This electronic version offers the most interesting tips for trips both in the city centre and in its immediate vicinity.

Visitors to Prague may easily use their Apple iPhone to go through any trip, which contains a map, available transport links offered by Prague’s public transport and GPS coordinates. The application is functional both for online and offline use, which is particularly handy on journeys when users do not want to pay for Internet connection from abroad. The application must be downloaded from App Store via wi-fi link since its size is around 90MB due to the great number of pictures. The application can also depict trips very easily, using Google Maps, while providing connection with Facebook. As a result, users may brief their friends on this social network about the trips which they enjoyed or which they have just finished. The application was developed primarily for Apple iPhone 3GS, 4 and the latest generation of iPods carrying the iOS system in version 4.0 and higher. However, the application can also be used on any equipment with iOS 4, just as on iPads of both generations.

Currently available is the English version of this application, which can be downloaded at App Store for 3.99 Euro. The price of the Czech version, which will be available in September, will be the same.
