Permanent changes to Prague Integrated Transit starting 10 June 2012

Based on an agreement between the City of Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, affected cities and municipalities, during the countrywide timetable change on Sunday, 10 June 2012, Prague Integrated Transit bus line operation will expand and other minor timetable changes will take place.

New bus line

• New bus number 432 will run along the route Milovice, železniční stanice – Milovice, Topolová to connect to train line S20 (in operation on workdays until approximately 20:00).

Expanded operation of suburban bus lines

• bus line 381 is being extended during the entire week by the stretch Suchdol – Kutná Hora, autobusová stanice,
• lbus line 387 is being extended during the entire week by the stretch Horní Kruty, Újezdec – Uhlířské Janovice, náměstí,
• bus line 398 is being extended during the entire week by the stretch Kostelní Lhota – Poděbrady, železniční stanice.

New stops

New tariff zones 6 and 7 and extension of full integration

Along with extension of PIT bus line operation, new tariff zones 6 and 7 are being implemented. At the same time, new types of PIT tickets and passes are being implemented.

• single-trip tickets
  • 10-zone ticket with a base price of 76 CZK (valid for 270 minutes)
  • 11-zone ticket with a base price of 84 CZK (valid for 300 minutes)
• supplementary time coupons
  • seven-zone monthly coupon for 1 560 CZK, quarterly for 3 200 CZK (base prices)
  • eight-zone monthly coupon for 1 780 CZK, quarterly for 4 800 CZK (base prices)

The new single-trip tickets will be available only from ticket dispensers and drivers of suburban buses. The new supplementary time coupons will be available only in electronic form on the Opencard or in paper form at Czech Rail ticket counters.

From 2 June 2012, so-called full integration (the ability to use single-trip PIT tickets) has also been extended on train lines S3 and R3 in the stretch Praha-Čakovice – Všetaty.
