On Wednesday, 3 June 2008, a concert by the band Metallica will take place at the new Slávia soccer stadium in Eden.

Visitors to the Mezi Ploty theatre festival, taking place from 31 May to 1 June 2008 at the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital can use regular bus line 200 from the Kobylisy metro station, whose frequency of service will increase.

From 29 to 31 May 2008, the largest job fair in the Czech Republic, JobDays 2008, will take place at the Letňany Fairgrounds, for the first time. It is intended for all job seekers from the Czech Republic and abroad. Its intent is to address the largest possible number of job seekers and the general public. Its organizers draw upon information of huge successes in similar trade fairs abroad (Brussels, Dublin, Helsingborg and Amsterdam).

We invite you to the 10th annual Bambiriáda event for children and youth, whose Prague sponsor includes the Prague Public Transit Co. The Pražská Bambiriáda will take place from 22 to 25 May 2008 on Střelecký Island, the Dětský Island and in front of the entrance to the Anděl metro station.

We would like to alert all visitors that they can get there via regular tram lines 6, 9, 22 and 23, which on the aforementioned dates will be stopping at a special stop named „Bambiriáda" on the Legion Bridge from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

On Thursday, May 8, a new track segment, IV.C2, will commence operation between the stations Střížkov, Prosek and Letňany. The metro will commence regular passenger transit that same day between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Surface transit service will connect to metro operation with the start of daytime service on Friday, May 9.

On Saturday, 3 May 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Prague Public Transit Co., the National Museum and the National Gallery in Prague will offer you the opportunity to admire unique works of art and testaments to life in exotic countries at Náprstek's Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures (National Museum) and at The National Gallery's Collection of Asian Art at the Zbraslav Chateau.

On Tuesday, 22 April 2008 an awards ceremony took place in the meeting room of the National Museum in Prague, where prizes were handed out to those that visited the most exhibitions within the scope of the COOL TOUR LINE event jointly put on by the National Museum, the National Gallery and the Prague Transit Co., and managed to fill up their entire Cool Tour passbook with stamps.

We would like to alert visitors to the AUTO PRAHA, OFF ROAD PRAHA, FOR-MEN, TUNING and INTERCHARM PRAGUE trade fairs taking place on 25 – 27 April 2008 at the Letňany Fairground in Prague, of the following transit options to the fairgrounds: regular lines 140, 156, 158, 166, 186, 195, 210, 233, 274, 305, 348, 351, 365 and 366 from the Českomoravská, Vysočanská, Palmovka, Ládví and Nádraží Holešovice metro stations, as well as special bus line 758 which will run along the route Českomoravská - Vysočanská - Prosek - Výstaviště Letňany and whose interval will vary according to demand.
