Starting 1 July 2010, test operation of bicycle transport on the Petřín funicular will begin.

Each year, Prague's integrated transit system operation changes according to changed transit demands. During workdays, metro operation is reduced by about 15%, tram service during peak workday times by about 20%, and bus operation by about 10-15%. Saturday and Sunday operation remains almost unchanged compared to regular times of the year.

For the third year in a row, The Prague Public Transit Co. brings you an uncommon cinema experience under the open sky combined with a charity event. Movies on the move begin on Petřín on 12 June 2010 as part of the Prague Museum Night, and don't end their travels until 29 August 2010 at náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad.

At the beginning of this year, the Prague Public Transit Co. presented to the public its safe escalator use project, and issued an information brochure named Decalogue of traveling on the escalator (cs, en).
This brochure was published to remind passengers of the rules that need to be followed when using escalators.

Starting on 1 July until 30 September 2009 the aerial tramway in the Prague Zoo will operate daily from 9:30 h until 18:30 h (until 18:00 in September).
The fare will be CZK 20 for a person more than 6 years old (children below 6 years travel free of charge).
