The tariffs for the Prague city area are divided into Zones P and 0 (in total, there are 4 tariff zones for the Prague area). Zone P has a doubled tariff value and Zone 0 is divided into Zones 0 and B – the border stops zone.

Zone P includes the metro, trams, city buses, the Petřín funicular, ferries and selected Czech Railway (ČD) line sections.

Zone 0 (the “terminal zone”) includes buses from the periphery areas (No’s 300 – 399 and 601 – 620) running through the Prague area, and selected ČD railway line sections.

Transport routes in the periphery areas

The outskirts of Prague are divided into five outlying zones (zones 1,2,3,4 and 5).

Periphery lines leave from Zone 0, Zone B also forms part of Zone 0, the zone for border stops. Zones 0 and B apply separately for individual tickets, i.e. as two tariff zones.

For pre-paid passes, Zones 0 and B count as one zone, indicated as Zone 0.

Zone P validity does not apply to passes. A pass for one zone cannot be used separately for Zones 0 or B. A pass for two zones cannot be used separately for Zones 0 and B.
