Changes in the PID Tariff valid from 1 April 2022

21. 03. 2022

Starting on Friday, 1 April 2022, the Prague Integrated Transport tariff is changed, following the adjustments to the nationwide discounts.

Change of the PID Tariff from 1 April 2022

  • Prices of the fare for children, students and seniors in suburban transport are changing
  • Nationwide discount for these tariff categories (children from 6 to 17 years, students from 18 to 26 years and seniors from 65 to 70 years) is reduced from 75% to 50%
  • Discounted fare for holders of the ZTP (severe health disability) and ZTP/P (severe health disability requiring special care) cards is introduced in the suburban transport (new 75% discount on the full fare, both on buses and PID trains)
  • The possibility of free transport for seniors over 70 years in PID suburban buses in the territory of the Central Bohemian Region remains valid also after 1 April 2022

Due to the impossibility of compensation for unused tickets by the state, it will not be possible to repurchase unused tickets that expire after 1 April 2022, including tickets purchased in the PID Lítačka mobile application. These tickets must be used by 31 March 2022.
