The Museum of Public Transport to Reopen on the Second Saturday in May

Due to the loosening of the government’s anti-pandemic measures, the Museum of Public Transport in Střešovice will reopen its gates to the public on Saturday, 8 May 2021.

Visitors will now be welcome to admire our historic vehicles and other exhibits every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. These will be our regular opening hours until the end of this year.

From 2 June 2021 to 1 September 2021, these opening hours will be extended to include Wednesday afternoons, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Due to the government’s current restrictive measures, a maximum of 37 persons can be present in the museum building at any one time.

Admission

  • children (up to age 6): free
  • children (ages 6–15): 60 CZK
  • students (up to age 26): 60 CZK
  • adults: 100 CZK
  • seniors (over 65): 60 CZK
  • family (2 adults + max. 3 children): 250 CZK
  • disabled card (ZTP/P) holders and (ZTP/P) guides and assistants: free
  • tickets are available from the museum ticket office (each is marked with a specific date)

 

The permanent exhibition "Museum of Public Transport in Prague" was opened to the public by DPP in May 1993. It includes more than forty historic vehicles and many other exhibits - models, photographs, historical documents, tickets and route plans.
