Respirators mandatory starting from 25 February 2021

Passengers are obliged to have their mouth and nose covered by a respirator in all means of public transport, in all areas of the Prague metro as well as in the interiors of the Information Centres of the Prague Public Transit Company.

This obligation also applies to all areas of all stops, platforms or shelters at the stops.

• It is not allowed anymore to use, for example, fabric masks, homemade masks or scarfs and shawls.
• Respirators must be of KN95 class or FFP2 class, or a higher class, always without exhalation valve.
• Current information regarding the coronavirus can be found at the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

This obligation does not apply to persons driving a public transport vehicle or a bus even within other than public transport, when they are not in direct contact with passengers at their check-in.
