Commencement of operation of track IV.C2

On Thursday, May 8, a new track segment, IV.C2, will commence operation between the stations Střížkov, Prosek and Letňany. The metro will commence regular passenger transit that same day between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Surface transit service will connect to metro operation with the start of daytime service on Friday, May 9.

The three new metro stations will provide barrier-free access, as well as having a new feature, an LED light belt that provides a visual warning of the safety zone at the edge of the platform.
