Budějovická: Closure of the southern vestibule of the metro station

Because of the emergency state of the roofing of the public passage (atrium) between the buildings of Česká spořitelna and shopping mall DBK, which is not administered by the Prague Public Transit Company, as well as due to the necessity to ensure the safety of passengers, the southern vestibule of metro station Budějovická will be closed from Friday, the 19th of January 2018 (from the launch of daytime operation) until further notice. At the same time, the transitions between the southern atrium and southern passage around this vestibule will be closed by the landowner.

  • Entry to metro station is possible only via the northern vestibule (fixed staircase).
  • Prague Public Transit Company ensures barrier-free access only between the metro station platform and the northern vestibule in the atrium.
  • It is possible to continue to the street level in a barrier-free way using the elevator of LIDL store, but only within its opening hours – daily from 7:00 a.m. (on Sunday from 8:00 a.m.) to 9:00 p.m.
  • The underpass escalators in the southern part of the passage (to health centre and bus stop in front of DBK) are not in operation. However, the access to business facilities is possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
